Simracing
A brief timeline of our sim racing activities. You can find more information on the website of our sim racing team, Team RaceCar.
Have we sparked your interest in sim racing? Feel free to reach out if you’d like to become part of the team — we’d love to hear from you!

2025: Mirage Simracer
The RC-24-EM by Daniel Senff continues the tradition of Mirage’s yellow-and-blue sim racers.
2024: Online Simracing
Since 2024, we’ve been planning to take part in selected individual events from time to time. Both the RaceCar entries and Mirage prominently feature the logo of the Mirage Cuisine blog.

2010: Deutsche Simracing Formula Meisterschaft
As internet connections improved, true online racing was no longer an issue. Competing as Mirage-RaceCar, we took part in the DSFM in 2010 and 2011.
2004: International GP4 League
In addition to the Hotlapcompetition, Mirage also competed as RaceCar’s B team in the second division of the international GP4 league. The highlight came in 2004, when we finished as runners-up — a result that would have earned promotion to the top division, had it not been restricted for “B teams.”

2003: Offline Simracing
Over 20 years ago, Formula 1 simulations didn’t handle high ping or limited bandwidth very well. As a result, the best option for sim racing at the time were so-called offline leagues: each driver raced against the clock and submitted their time. Whoever completed the set distance in the shortest time was declared the winner.
2001: First starts in the Hotlapcompetition
Daniel und Felix started 2001 in the Hotlapcompetition of the online magazine Racingmag
